Program Shared Features

  1. B.S.W./M.S.W./M.S.W. (HR) degrees make you eligible for all types of civil services and other competitive examinations.
  2. With a learner focused program design of 3 days theory, 2 days field work and 1 day earmarked for capacity building across all the semesters, AISW helps the learners to build a requisite skill set on the strong base of theoretical orientation.
  3. Hand-on projects, live trainings, expert sessions, self-learning exercises, computer/mobile assisted and blended learning offered in ergonomically designed learning centers, equipped with state-of-the-art ICT facilities, with a rich library and wifi enabled campus. The campus is divyang jan friendly too.
  4. Consistent on-campus and off-campus job placements assisted by strong AAN (AISW Alumni Network) and strengthened by structured mentoring programme.
  5. Consistent record of accomplishment of University level gold medals.
  6. Representation & memberships to various national & international bodies such as IFSW, AMA, NAPSWI.

AISW is housed in a sprawling green campus of 16.58 acres with well-maintained class rooms having eco-friendly lighting, separate hostel with hygienic food for girls and boys, ample vehicle parking space, centrally AC – HD camera recording enabled auditorium with a seating capacity of 250 plus, Shri Vivekananda Sports Complex with a huge play ground and several indoor games – all of these aimed at providing excellent learning environment. We also offer free of cost homoeopathic health care to all our students and staff.

Program Features of D.C.S.R./D.P.P.D.

CSR is increasingly becoming a critical part of the business strategy for large, medium and small organisations. India Inc. finds dearth of skilled & trained personnel to design, plan, implement and evaluate the CSR interventions and AISW offers to bridge this gap by offering DCSR, which provides practical insight on various aspects of CSR and the work of CSR professionals.

The DPPD offers an opportunity to all the working professional and professionals to be with an in depth understanding of various aspects related to project that include but are not limited to project conceptualisation, project design and development, project report and proposal development. This is a vital, evergreen in-demand skill, as each one of us have to work on projects of different types daily.

Program Features of Ph.D. (Social Work)

Ph.D. (Social Work) is a 3 years full time programme/5 Years part-time program. The focus of the programme is to train the learners and build their skills for gaining employment in the development sector, human resource management, health sector, international organisations, government agencies, service sector, NGOs and consulting. The programme is a combination of theory and field work practice. Please note that the admissions to Ph.D. are processed through our affiliating university twice a year.
