DR. SNEHA CHANDRAPAL

Dr. Sneha Chandrapal has an enriching academic career spanning more than a decade. She has earned a doctorate in Social Work from Sardar Patel University. She also possesses three years of post-doctoral research experience.
She has presented several papers at national and international seminars and conferences. She has published more than forty research papers in peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals and chapters in edited books. She has one book to her credit. She is associated with various professional and academic bodies at local, state, and national levels. She holds a life membership in professional bodies at the national level. Her expertise extends to areas such as psychology, criminology, social research, and human resource management.

DR. SEJAL MACWAN
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sejal Macwan is an alumna of the Anand Institute of Social Work and has been serving as an Assistant Professor since June 2011. She has almost 13 years of rich experience in academia. She has authored one book with ISBN and published 13 research papers in reputed National & International peer-reviewed/referred/UGC CARE List Journals. She has 6 chapters published in edited books on her credit. She has also presented around 13 papers at National and International Conferences, Seminars, and Webinars. She has participated in several International, National, and State level seminars, conferences, workshops, and training programmes. She also owns a life membership with the National Association of Professional Social Workers in India. Her areas of interest include Mental Health, Psychiatry, and Women Empowerment.
MR. JEETKUMAR SHAH
Adhyapak Sahayak
Mr. Jeetkumar Shah is an alumnus of the Anand Institute of Social Work. He is currently working as an Adhyapak Sahayak. With extensive experience spanning various sectors, he has contributed significantly to the field of social work. He spent four years in the developmental sector, and two and a half in the industrial setting. Moreover, he possesses over thirteen years of teaching experience. He has actively participated in numerous national and international webinars, workshops, and seminars. He has also showcased his research power by presenting and publishing several research papers in peer-reviewed, refereed journals, both Nationally and Internationally. His areas of expertise include Sociology and Community Development.
MS. SMITA PARMAR
Assistant Professor
She has three years of experience in the academic field. She has been serving as an NSS Programme Officer. She has achieved the “AMUL VIDYA BHUSHAN AWARD” for an outstanding academic performance at the Central/State Board Higher Secondary Examination. She secured second rank in Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at the university level. She is the college gold medallist and secured the first rank at the university level in MSW programme. She has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Education, Certificate Course in Communication, Journalism and Public Relations, Diploma in NGO Management, Advance Diploma in Counselling, Certificate Course in Human Rights. She has published 10 research papers in various National and International peer-reviewed, refereed journals and UGC Care-listed journals. She has published 4 chapters in edited books. She has presented research papers at various seminars and conferences. She has been serving as a volunteer in the NGO sector for the last nine years. She has participated in various state, national and international level workshops, seminars, conferences, webinars and training programmes and Faculty Development Programmes. Her areas of interest include research, disaster management, sociology, community development and NGO Management.
MR. AMIT ROY
Adhyapak Sahayak
He is an alumnus of Anand Institute of Social Work, with 13 years of rich experience in the academic field and 8 months in the NGO sector. He has attended various faculty development programmes, national and international level seminars, conferences, and workshops. He has also presented and published research papers in peer-reviewed, refereed journals and UGC Care-listed journals. He is also an NSS Programme Officer at the college level. His areas of interest include community development, sociology, human resource management, business and employment laws.
DR. HETALKUMARI MAKWANA
Adhyapak Sahayak
With five years of experience in the developmental sector of social work, Dr. Hetal transitioned to the academic field two years ago. She has actively participated in national and international workshops, seminars, conferences, and faculty development programmes. Additionally, she has published research articles in peer-reviewed and UGC CARE-listed journals. She has worked on projects for UNESCO and UNICEF.
